Preston and Ashten's World. Saturday, June 26, 2010. Someone turned 33, but were not telling who! We started the big 33 celebration at the house with some drinks and cake with our neighbors.Unfortunately a huge storm blew in and the power went out- thank goodness for the 33 candles! The next day we woke up quite early (ie Mom woke up quite early) to pack the car for a family celebration in Omaha, NE to visit the amazing zoo and stay and the infamous CocoKeys Water Resort. And a little playing in the crib!

Preston and Ashten's World. Saturday, July 10, 2010. At the beginning of the summer we also made a trip to the KC Zoo with some playgroup friends! I have to admit, I have not always been a fan of this Zoo but this trip really was a blast! The boys were amazing.and cooperatively climbed in and out of the stroller when we moved from exhibit to exhibit! Showing some brotherly love! Seriously.this is my first baby.when did he grow up? Preston and Ashten's World. Tuesday, November 3, 2009. The Boys had a Boo-tastic Halloween this year! We were able to do quite a bit of baking-Caramel Apples, Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Cookies, and Pumpkin bread (or pumpkini bread as Preston called it)! Preston really enjoyed the baking and getting to help as much as a 3 year old can.He was most excited about his sugar cookie creations! We also had LOTS of parties! With the assistance of a jigsaw.Count Dracula was formed! Our little Pumpkin and Vampire!

Jason and I joined a group of neighbors this summer on a coed sand volleyball team.and boy was it fun and a little frustrating as the season ended tonight on a sad note- we lost! The boys were really great cheerleaders but we made the mistake one night of letting them play in the sand after a game.and this is what we came home with.
