BWE 2010 Gold Nugget Shiraz. The 2010 Bendigo Wine Estate Shiraz is a hand crafted wine from our vineyard near Axedale in Central Victoria. The wine maker has used a whole bunch and gentle crushing method before transferring the wine to French and American oak barrels. The wine was neither fined nor filtered prior to bottling. The 2011 estate grown Chardonnay is unoaked and of straw yellow colour. Carefully made from whole bunch pressing and prevention of malolactic fermentation. This wine has complex citrus and stonefruit aromas, which is followed through with a textural lingering palate. This wine is made entirely from the 2008 vintage Vedelho grapes grown on our Bendigo Wine Estate vineyard at Axedale Victoria in the Bendigo wine growing region. The vineyard is located on the banks of the Campaspe river.
