Rogers has the right approach and deserves re-election regardless of the decision of his opponent, David Zahn, former Cedar Rapids public safety commissioner, to withdraw as an active candidate after his name was already on the ballot. .

Re-elected to a second term. November 9, 2012. It is an honor and a privilege to return to the Linn County Board of Supervisors with a second term. Thank you to all of my supporters, family and friends for your encouragement throughout the election. It takes a village! The results will not be final for a few more days, but the unofficial result is 12456-9779 (56%-44%). Thank you for your trust and confidence in me for a second term. I truly appreciate it. .
