Welcome to the Edwards Family Blog. Sunday, October 26, 2008. Honeymoon and Early Marriage - Dale. Right after Mom and Dad were married in 1929, they went on a honeymoon from Shelley, Idaho to Logan, Utah. This was a fairly short distance, but in that time with road conditions as they were in December, it was quite a trip. After the worst of the depression, Dad again got employment with the U&I Sugar Compay and worked for them until he retired (about 48 years as he started with them in his early teens).

Beau, Emily, Echo, Porter, and Piper. Tuesday, November 27, 2012. 2012 - A Year In Review. I actually have to start by back tracking a little into 2011. We were so excited to have my parents as well as Elise and Kevin join us up in the Boise area. Here are my parents in front of their new home. We had a nice Christmas last year. We had an awesome Chinese dinner for Christmas Eve - a Walker tradition that we made all my family do - they loved it :). In January we went up to the Winter Carnival in McCall.

Sunday, January 25, 2009. We braved the cold and the crowds to go down to DC for President Obama's inauguration. It was very crowded. People were climbing on whatever they could find to get a better view. Most people were wearing Obama buttons or maybe a hat. There were also some people with more elaborate items of clothing.
