Bioregional was founded in 1994 by Sue Riddlestone and Pooran Desai, two environmental activists and campaigners based in Sutton, South London who were keen to found practical green and sustainable initiatives. Today Bioregional is working closely with a wide variety of partners in Canada, the USA, the UK and several other nations. But its world headquarters is still in Sutton, in the world-renowned BedZED eco-village which it helped to develop. Design and build by.
