Just me.sharing the JOYS of my life with others! Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Wyoming trip and fun stuff! We had an AMAZING trip to Wyoming and Western Nebraska. Such an encouraging time to meet with friends and former youth group students and some parents. I don't think there is anything more encouraging than to see former students who are all grown up and still living faithfully for Jesus! I'm so thankful we had a part in their lives and now we get to partner again with them in ministry! ALL PRAISE TO HIM!

Tuesday, February 26, 2013. The Best Blind Date Ever. Okay, truth be told, it was my one and only. A few weeks ago, I flew to Florida and met up with a whole bunch of Jesus-loving-China-Moms. Who I had never ever met before. Except on the internet. It was a little scary. A flashback to junior high days all-over-again. Like, oh my, maybe I should dye my hair and try to lose a few pounds? Or what if she doesn't like me? Cause you know the internet hides all the warts and stuff, right? Successfully raising ...

http://gretchensgiggles.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Just me.sharing the JOYS of my life with others! Saturday, September 17, 2011. Some might call it 'nesting,' but I really just don't want all this yummy produce to go to waste! I thought that sounded so much easier than trying to stand over the hot stove canning all these tomatoes. So I tried it! I did have enough peppers to make Mike 1 3/4 qts of salsa! This little gadget came with my blender and attaches to it. It has a bigger blade.I guess its kinda like a food processor! Tuesday, September 13, 2011.

Operation Lucy come home! John and Georgene Brown's adoption story. Saturday, January 18, 2014. In late fall when we received our first snow storm it was really exciting and fun to see the fresh fluffiness of winter roll in. Kids and I got excited, ran outside to catch some in our mouths and make snow angels. During the storm I prayed frequently that our power wouldn't go out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Look teacher my full name! The gate my daughter was left at. Families who adopted with us in Jan 2010.

Wow, of all the places Jesus was born but in a manger. I can't help but think of all the places to bring the savior into the world and in the manger it is. Then there is Wyatt, his first Christmas and wow of all the families in the world he chose ours for this special little boy! Another first is the loss of Lucy's first tooth! Orphan to Rock star!

operation Lucy come home!: April 2013
http://operationlucycomehome.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Operation Lucy come home! John and Georgene Brown's adoption story. Sunday, April 28, 2013. I am truly amazed at how God can use a sinner like me for his glory. A few weeks ago I was asked to share our adoption story with a group called "A child's Hope". Instantly I was thrilled as my closest friends know how passionate I am on promoting adoption. I dragged both Lucy and Wyatt with me in hopes that seeing their little faces would make an impact! Something so simple yet important in the eyes of a child!
