Sunday, March 17, 2013. This has been my favorite way to start the day lately. Healthy, delicious, and quite filling. not to mention EASY to make. Winner all around! Anyway, just giving you a good reason not to hit snooze. Healthy Good Morning Granola and Yogurt. 1 cup Vanilla Yogurt. 1/2 cup Trail Mix. Handful of dried cranberries.

"Put a Lyd on it!": Julia's Wraps
http://putalydonit.blogspot.com/2009/05/julias-wraps.html
Tuesday, May 5, 2009. This recipe brings back a lot of happy memories of my college days. My room-mate Julia would crank out a big batch of these all the time. After a while, the spread became as common as milk in our fridge and we would just take turns buying ingredients. They also make really good appetizers cut up with a tooth-pick in it. So good, so fresh, and so quick! 2 (8oz) soft cream cheese. 1/4 tsp garlic salt. Add all ingredients and stir together until smooth. I'm not even kidding! This blog ...

http://putalydonit.blogspot.com/2013/10/healthy-stove-top-popcorn.html
Saturday, October 19, 2013. If somebody cut me open, I'm pretty sure I would bleed popcorn. It is my favorite and my best! Just ask my hubby, who heard stirring the last night in the kitchen and caught me making yet another batch for the fourth night in a row. He said disgustedly, "You make more popcorn that a circus carnival! And pretty much, he's right. I can't help myself. (Or I do. Little girl in the sponge curlers dancing along with "Bobby and Sissy."). So here we go. Getting a little too FernGully.

Wednesday, September 18, 2013. The zucchinis are taking over the world! Actually, I kinda wish they were. It seems anyone with a garden is anxious to get rid of them, but I audibly gulped as I noted the priced of $1.30 per pound at the grocery store. Zucchinis are the best sneaky veggie there is! You can disguise them in just about anything, and they don't take over. I love them! 189; cups All-purpose Flour. 1 teaspoon Baking Powder. 188; teaspoons Baking Soda. 188; teaspoons Salt. 189; cups Water Or Milk.

"Put a Lyd on it!": Kale Chips
http://putalydonit.blogspot.com/2013/08/kale-chips.html
Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Honest and truly, I never pictured myself even putting a bundle of leafy kale in my grocery cart. Yes, I know. I too have heard of all it's miraculous nutritional healing powers, but what the heck do you do with the stuff. It is simply not edible! I've tried it in green smoothies and it is what I call a disaster! I can't even pretend it is palatable. Good for you if you think otherwise.) I am just not the torture-your-taste-buds-to-go-green. A way to make kale taste good! If they...

I was attracted to the " quick and easy. Quick and Easy Whole Wheat Breadsticks. From Clean Eating in Texas. 3 cups whole wheat pastry flour. 1 Tbs dry yeast. Melt 2 Tbs of ...

"Put a Lyd on it!": Homemade Dairy-Free Chocolate Pudding
http://putalydonit.blogspot.com/2012/03/homemade-dairy-free-chocolate-pudding.html
Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Homemade Dairy-Free Chocolate Pudding. Is is possible for pudding to be yummy AND dairy-free? Sweet and silky-smooth. I was surprised by how tasty this was, and so easy to make. Rice and flax milk have been my favorites dairy alternatives so far. I'm certainly not dairy-free (all you have to do is scroll down a bit and that will become obvious) but I have really cut back and I think my body is happier. (I do. Homemade Dairy-Free Chocolate Pudding. 1/3 cup honey (I may. This blo...
