Tuesday, 30 June 2009. The classic DOF shot. Recently started digital editing. I tried to recreate the infra film shot. My lens (18-105) is not a macro lens, but I managed to crop it from the huge size. This is done by standing far, zooming as much as possible with the huge aperture. Create the dreamy effect. The blurriness was enhanced digitally. Chased this bugger like mad. I was actually more interested in getting the veins of the leave. I love black and white pictures. Bright colours are the best.

Monday, 27 July 2009. The world at my palms. Caution, do not forget the screws. Sunday, 26 July 2009. 8 of us in a huge car, all the way traffic jam till Nagano. At least the ride was filled with snacks and drinks. Camp site. The cottage was like a small box. I was expecting a little more, but then again we are going for a camp. And the place was filled with bugs and ants! Shower was 200yen for 5mins of hot water. Truly brought me back to Army. This is how we drink! Tribute to Michael Jackson.

Sunday, 30 August 2009. Most of the companies have sports team. From what I know, Toshiba supports basketball, baseball and rugby. I got half a day off to go cheer the team on. We had a chartered bus to bring us back and forth, bento was even provided for us. My mentor and me went and was pretty shocked at the queue that was formed outside Tokyo Dome. It took us an hour before we got in. Trying to catch the player stealing a base. Mascots Para-chan and friend. Kuma from Softbank phones. We won the match!
