Shanghai Dixie: June 2015
http://shanghainoodles.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
From Shanghai to Dixie Land, enjoying the food along the way. Thursday, June 4, 2015. Working from home can be really tough. It means that you most likely work at all hours of the day and night and work often crosses over into (or crowds out) your personal life. But it can also be freaking fantastic. Sometimes it means you can sit outside with the kids on a nice day. I promised the kids a new swimming pool this year since last year's didn't get stored properly and got ruined. So it looks like our Summer ...

Shanghai Dixie: Food Allergies
http://shanghainoodles.blogspot.com/2014/11/food-allergies.html
From Shanghai to Dixie Land, enjoying the food along the way. Monday, November 17, 2014. This has been a rough year for our family. Each one of us has discovered and/or developed food allergies. Some of these allergies could have always been there but get more extreme, while others can develop seemingly "out of the blue.". Food allergies are often genetic. So.blame your parents. Food allergies are no fun. But they are very real. Other symptoms can be more serous and dramatic. Like your throat closing...

Shanghai Dixie: Summer Swimming Days
http://shanghainoodles.blogspot.com/2015/06/summer-swimming-days.html
From Shanghai to Dixie Land, enjoying the food along the way. Thursday, June 4, 2015. I promised the kids a new swimming pool this year since last year's didn't get stored properly and got ruined. Pro tip: get your pool on Memorial Day at Walmart. They are dirt cheap and you can get a fun one. Instead we ended up at Big Lots. Which worked out really well. Rosie said she wanted a deeper pool than a kiddie pool so we ended up with this bad boy. As you can see, we even worked it out so we could have a slide.

Shanghai Dixie: September 2014
http://shanghainoodles.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
From Shanghai to Dixie Land, enjoying the food along the way. Monday, September 29, 2014. St Patrick's Irish Picnic - 2014. It wouldn't be Summer without St. Patrick's Irish Picnic. It's the biggest event in our area. People come from out of town to attend and often use it as a good excuse for a family reunion. This year they had a bouncy house that was perfect for little kids. Rosie really liked bouncing her whole body on the blow up turtle. I have a picture of Rosie at this booth for the past four years.
