A Bowl of Cherries. Friday, July 3, 2009. I'm a little twitchy. So, Kevin and I were doing laundry today. I was bringing our fresh clean towels into our bathroom when I felt something tickle my neck. Thinking it was a hair, I just brushed my neck. A few minutes later, I felt it again. I brushed my neck, and then Kevin looked at me and says "Oh my gosh! And this thing was about the size of a dime. Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, ew! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Im a little twitchy. Friends and Family Blogs.

A Bowl of Cherries. Sunday, June 28, 2009. A Year and a Half. Well, today is me and Kevin's year and a half anniversary! It's been a great time. I am very lucky to be married to such a wonderful man! I have been chastised by many people that I am a terrible blogger. Well, it's true. I am. But, I'm finally blogging to fill everyone in on our very exciting life. Oh, wait. It's really not that exciting (now I remember why I never blog.) Just kidding, life is wonderful! We feel very blessed. The beaches in n...

Monday, January 13, 2014. It's a new year! Time to make some new goals and commitments to myself. Here are 14 things I'd like to make happen in 2014:. Write a song, and perform it for someone. I love music. I'm happier when music is a part of my life, though I have always relied radio/iTunes/spotify to fill me up with new songs. Writing music has always seemed either too hard or too cheesy. No more excuses! I'm going to do it. This year. Recommit to making at least 3 healthy meals a week. But I would lik...

Calling Your Name Taylor: August 2014
http://callingyournametaylor.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Calling Your Name Taylor. Saturday, August 23, 2014. First Day of First Grade. We've really been enjoying Summer at our house. Joe was ready for more structure though. He missed the first day of school because we got to pick Stephanie up from the airport from her mission! I gave him the choice to come with us to pick her up and miss his first day, or go to the first day of school and see her that night and he decided to miss the first day. And then there is this kid who is just too cool for school. He mi...

Calling Your Name Taylor: October 2014

Calling Your Name Taylor. Saturday, October 4, 2014. Cute Things Kids Say. I will forget if I don't write them down so. The other day Joe says out of the blue, "Mom, when is Grandpa Ed going to come back to life? I really miss him! So sweet. I love that my boys got to know their Grandpa Ed while we lived with them. Also, we explained that we don't know when exactly we'll be resurrected, so it might be a while. Not sure where that came from. Or when he ever sees Cinderella. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Calling Your Name Taylor: April 2015
http://callingyournametaylor.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Calling Your Name Taylor. Monday, April 13, 2015. Zach had to work Spring Break, but since Joe and Will were both home from school the whole week I decided we should at least do some things a little out of the ordinary. We kicked off by roasting marshmallow Sunday night with Zach. The boys loved the fire, but Max and Will both decided they prefer marshmallows plain rather than toasted. On the way home we stopped in Beaver at the Cache Valley Cheese Factory Outlet. The boys got ice cream (it was good!

Saturday, May 31, 2014. Well, it's about time. This poor blog has been abandoned for so long. I don't know if anyone is still reading. but if you are, thank you for not giving up on me! It's the last week of school! I have had one of those "chew-you-up-and-spit-you-out" kind of years, but not because of my students. This has been a unique combination of kids, and I love them. Running away from Jaws on a recent field trip to the Museum of Ancient Life. They look a lot better with plants in them! Teaching ...

Calling Your Name Taylor: July 2013
http://callingyournametaylor.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Calling Your Name Taylor. Sunday, July 28, 2013. The girl sitting next to me kindly accepted to keep an eye on him while I was gone. Although Will's behavior was a far cry from perfect, I felt like it was a blessing in disguise. First, it was an opportunity for me to practice patience. Although I often enjoy those opportunities, I need them. Second, because I took the boys home I was able to fully participate in Relief Society. On the surface it may not seem like it, but today was a good day. Joe loves t...
