The Waite Update: The Prodigal Blogger
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2010/03/prodigal-blogger.html
Friday, March 19, 2010. Well, I hope some of you will welcome me back into the blogging world even though I've been astray for so long. I can't guarantee I'll be posting as often as I'd like, but I'll certainly try to not let another 15 months go by between posts (I'm pathetic, I know)! Of course the box is always much more fun than the toy, right? Some of my favorite moments throughout the day are watching my little guys playing together. I've been very impressed at what a good big brother Bryce is ...

The Waite Update: Home Birth
http://thewaiteupdate.blogspot.com/2008/11/home-birth.html
Tuesday, November 25, 2008. As my due date approaches, we're getting prepared for our first home birth experience. We had to purchase a birth kit with all sorts of goodies in it (pictured below), and several other supplies. It's definitely a different experience preparing for a home birth rather than a hospital birth. When I tell people I'm having a home birth, 90% of the time their response is "you're so brave! And #2: "I can't believe you're going to risk your life and the life of your baby like that!

Thursday, November 13, 2008. The Upbeat: Documentary on Utah Ska. If you went to high school in the 90’s, you most likely heard of the musical phenomenon that was Ska music. Especially if you lived in Utah. Have you ever wondered what Ska music is, where it came from, and why it ended up in Utah of all places? Well, the answer to these pressing questions have been answered once and for all in my good friend Brandon Smith’s new documentary, “the Upbeat,” which is now out on DVD. Me, my friend Ben, and som...

Rhyme and Reason: January 2009
http://freeyesfree.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Hope #4: Hope for a traditional American foreign policy. Okay, this one is a little long, but it’s a topic that needs a lot of explanation. Hope #4 for President Obama is that he will seek a traditional American foreign policy of neutrality and non-intervention unless our vital national interests or national security are inherently connected. What does this mean? This means no more world policing and no more state building! What should our foreign policy look like then? Yes, it...

The Facks of Life. Friday, November 12, 2010. She's been wanting to cut her hair for awhile. And she's been very patient with letting it grow out for a cause. 10 inches off and she's as adorable as ever. I feel like this sassy little hair cut fits her spunky personality. The Facks of Life.
