Life with four boys and a girl. Saturday, November 20, 2010. Mak's birthday is next week. Since it is close to Thanksgining he tends to have birtday cake and pumpkin pie with family. He asked if he could have friends over this year. We didn't call it a birthday party, but more like my birthday gift to him. Five friends were invited and told to bring dark clothes and Nerf guns - with marked bullets. Four of the boys arrived a little earlier than the 5th, so they waited in ambush. In their favorite tree.

Life with four boys and a girl. Thursday, July 22, 2010. A taste of California. We just spent two weeks in California with my family and had the best time! We took Dianne with us - our visitor from Holland, and then Nina and Ben came to visit as well. When we were all together there were 16 of us. Above: Jack with his new pal (and 2nd cousin) Ezekiel. Look closely, each of them are sitting/pointing to their names! This is one of our favorite Twain Harte activities and we love Rich and Marilyn (the owners).

Life with four boys and a girl. Saturday, January 02, 2010. Christmas in Twain Harte. Kayte is growing up so fast. She just loves everyone and everything - and we love her for it. Her favorite gifts were her new Leapster (aka lobster) and this Strawberry Shortcake doll. When we woke up Christmas morning Santa Clause was sitting in the living room, waiting to greet the kids.
