http://thebigcandme.blogspot.com/2015/05/mothers-day-its-complicated.html
Healing and dealing with life after a breast cancer diagnosis. Thursday, May 7, 2015. MOTHER'S DAY: IT'S COMPLICATED. I wanted to share a beautiful, personal and poignant essay that my friend Kim. Wrote about the many complications of motherhood. It's entitled. My Mother, Mother-In-Law, and Me: A Love Triangle. And WOW, what a great read. But I don't want to give the story away by excerpting even one sentence. So I'll let you. Read it on your own. Have a tissue ready! Labels: breast cancer, #mothersday.

Passersby didn't know where to advert their eyes, to my chest or to my arm and hand! Onto the office supply store where yet, I was encountered with the same stares and look...

Getting Back To Living-Not Just Surviving. Monday, December 27, 2010. A few weeks ago I wrote about a friend of mine that had been recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. There was a vintage fashion show held in her honor to help raise money to offset some of her medical bills. All of the vintage jewelry, clothing, and hats that were modeled came from Pats store in downtown Elgin. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Getting Back To Living-Not Just Surviving. Saturday, January 22, 2011. Boobies, Bracelets and Ten Year Olds. The other day, I noticed my 10 year old grandson wearing an I "heart" boobies bracelet. I know there has been a lot of discussion about kids wearing these bracelets in school and whether or not they understand the meaning behind these bracelets. This bracelet he was wearing opened the door for this such discussion with a very smart ten year old. Sunday, January 9, 2011. A fresh new beginning.

I was only 42 and recently started a new job and we had just signed the papers on purchasing a brand new town home. My life was going along as planned, then WHAM I felt like I was sucker punched. And in a perfect world, cancer would be null and void so that ...
