The Bass Family: Eli Turns 4!!!
http://emilymckee.blogspot.com/2015/07/eli-turns-4.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. I can't believe that I have a 4 year old! Holy cow times flies! This year he will be in pre-school and then next year in Kindergarten! We decided to celebrate his actual birthday quietly, at home with his favorite dinner. Here are some photos and videos of his birthday evening. For his party, a few days later, we had a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party. Eli loved it! I had the kids decorate Pirate hats to wear during the party. They had a blast decorating! The cake. :). The Bass Family: July 2013
http://emilymckee.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 27, 2013. I have a 2 year old! Yikes, when did that happen! This boy takes after his Grandma McKee. He ate 4 pieces of Watermelon, and wanted more. Happy Birthday Baby Boy! I love you more each day! Roasting his first marshmallow. Our little non-sleeper. When we finally went in to bed, he decided it was play time for a few hours. Boy, were we exhausted! And playing some disc golf the next morning. A Day at Astoria. I'll give a run down of our day via pictures, and try not to overload you.

Alphabet Page: Felt on felt sticks well to each other. If it is terrible/doesn't work, I'll suck it up and do velcro}. Zipper page, camping style!

The Bass Family: A Major Setback and a Small Step Forward
http://emilymckee.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-major-setback-and-small-step-forward.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. A Major Setback and a Small Step Forward. Here we go. Post #2 on our Student Loan Payoff Saga. Since David did not receive any loan repayment this year, it is in his contract that the company he works for will add some income to his paychecks every month, which is great. Right now we aren't sure how much that will amount to, but unfortunately, it won't match up to the tax free loan repayment we were anticipating. Second: The Small Step Forward. The Bass Family: Starting the Arduous Task of Paying off Student Loans
http://emilymckee.blogspot.com/2015/06/starting-arduous-task-of-paying-off.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2015. Starting the Arduous Task of Paying off Student Loans. I am also writing this in the hopes that someone going through, or who will go through, a similar situation, can get ideas for how to manage the debt load, and find encouragement. Okay, let’s get to the nitty gritty. This is the part that hurts the worst. To pay off all David’s Dental School loans right now, the payoff amount would be: $308,808.55. Yeah, you read that right. Just shy of $310k! Yeah, I know that is a lot of mon...
