My Summer with Beatrix Potter: June 2006
http://kathyhawkins.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
My Summer with Beatrix Potter. Thursday, June 29, 2006. I've spent the last couple of days planting the garden (in between the much needed rain showers)! We were able to see the garden at Fawe Park.but only through the fence boards as it is not open to the public at this time. Here I am acting like a real tourist! Today I will finish planting more beans and some flowers. None of Jemima Puddleduck's rhubarb can be planted until spring.she will have to find somewhere else to lay her eggs! Your aff friend,.

My Summer with Beatrix Potter. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. The Hawkins Women are in London! The Hawkins women are in London! Arriving yesterday afternoon, after a delayed flight from Chicago and Dublin, we checked into the simple, yet charming, Garden Court Hotel in the Bayswater area of London. Though absolutely exhausted and jet-lagged, we made ourselves clean up, look around, eat supper, and stay awake until around 8:OO and then fall into bed and into a deep sleep. (it was still light out! Have to go now...

It seems like. We are well, and trying to get the farm ready for winter. Your aff friend,. Posted by Kathy Hawkins @ 7:48 PM.

My Summer with Beatrix Potter. Sunday, April 29, 2007. Spring has finally come to Indiana and we are so happy! Our lilac bushes got nipped by that dreadful snow of two Sundays ago, but we think that the cherry tree will be OK. Happy Birthday #82 to Jeff's Dad, Glenn! Glenn's parents, Velma and Leo Hawkins, are the wise people who bought the farm in 1957. We are sure glad they did. I finished up my Spring semester classes at IPFW this past week and aced them both! Here are Jeff and Ron happy that their job is done! Now I am ready to paint, spread the paths with mulch, and begin adding the details from Beatrix Potter's tales. like watering cans, wheelbarrows, and little blue jackets! Of course it will get more difficult to find the time as school has started. We are already 4 days into the year!

Brian D. Buckley, Editor. You write. I polish. It shines. My name is Brian D. Buckley, and I’m a copyeditor. If you’re a writer, I could be. What’s a copyeditor? What can you do for me? I correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, usage, and style. I also do fact-checking, look at internal consistency, and smooth out awkward or unclear sentences. Basically, I take care of all the nitpicky little issues so you don’t have to. When should you use “blond” vs. “blonde”? Or no spaces like this? My usual rate is $...
