Thursday, May 07, 2009. I think I'll put down some mulch in my vegetable garden paths today. It's something I was hoping to do in less windy/less cold weather, but after 4 days of waiting for warmth, I think I better not wait any longer. I have some corn and pepper plants to bed too, again was waiting for the sun, but it seems like it'll never happen. Thursday, March 26, 2009. It's a good thing that spring break is here. The house has been suffering the past three months. I cleaned the gross stinky kitchen last night and guess what? There is a sink and a counter in there! I was even able to do a load of dishes this morning so the kitchen is still clean. more than 12 hours later! Hopefully it'll be a productive spring break. Saturday, April 26, 2008. My Run-in with the Law! Friday, April 18, 2008. I've let everything slide because I've been sick for the last two weeks and not getting better. It started with the flu and that turned into bronchitis and an ear infection and now nothing is improving even though I am doing everything I can to try to get better. I also have laryngitis and can't talk above a whisper. So I would like to say Thank You to my awesome mother and nominate her as Best Mom of the Month!

Monday, February 15, 2010. These are the latest projects I've been working on. There are a lot more but I felt these were the best photographs. My best friend DiVeena told me she would like to see what kind of jewelry I could make using my Tatting skills, so the star and the picture with the lavender pearls was my attempts. Thursday, March 12, 2009. I've been washing all our clothes by hand this week. Only about 4 loads. A new plunger a utility sink full of water and some laundry make for sore muscles, pruned fingers and chapped skin. But the laundry was completed and the repair man will be able to get to the machine that was once buried in clothing. Gotta go clean, that is, after my delicious tea clears my head. Wednesday, August 05, 2009. How TV Should be Viewed. Here is a really quick overview of PLEX the free, open source, media software that we have finally settled on. This is just the media player. We also enjoy using our TV to access our favorite websites and games as well. Ainsley is playing on her Club Penguin account now.
