I have been stressed out by so many little things, my brain just doesn’t know what to do with itself anymore. I am supposed to be a human calendar remembering not only my own stuff, but everyone else’s too. What I should be doing today is making the Birthday Boy his b-day breakfast, maybe some pancakes with a few candles poking out the top, with some juice and any of his other favorites on the side and either have it waiting for him on the kitchen table or serve it to him in bed. My fiancé (at the time), my son, Mikey (from a previous relationship) and I were on our way home from friends’ house, we came to an intersection where the red light just turned green and continued on our way. Butterfly in the oasis in the desert. Monday, March 9, 2015. Farewell, Saudi Arabia. This is a sad blog for me because it is my last. I have moved back home from Saudi Arabia. My time in KSA was quite the adventure. Things are very different there. It was interesting learning about the culture, exploring the landscape and learning more about its history.
