The coverage spun me into a Twitter rant ( documented here. But after reflecting on my reaction, I feel it’s worth exploring the issues in a bit more detail. Honestly, if Cerf brings the news that our digital crap is in jeopardy, that’s good enough. Different people listen to him. Don’t worry, it’s just a bug in the system! And the patent, here.

Specifically, in terms of overall architecture, Olive is very similar to the KEEP Emulation Framework. That can r...

Who leads Rhizome’s digital conservation program. Well not really an article but as he says “a mixture of manuscript and transcript of my keynote/closing lecture at Digital Preservation 2014. July 23rd in Washington, DC, held by the Library of Congress.”. And conserving some works. Halfway through the transcript he says this:.

Now my thesis is finished I thought it is time to change, and move on to a new website. I have deleted the website I created for my doctoral research (symbiotext.net). Because it functioned as my online archive I have downloaded it and saved it as a PDF so I can create a printed version of it. So the new main website to find my latest project I am working on is this. Gives an...
