Southern Style Blog: January 2015
http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 28, 2015. After we dug ourselves out of the snow at our house I insisted we head out to go sledding. It was about 20 degrees and the windchill probably made it feel about 10 but we just had to go out. This was the only picture I took of the entire sledding experience. This is how it looked after the storm past. The sky always looks so beautiful after a storm. There was sooo much snow! Tuesday, January 27, 2015. OUr very first blizzard! After all that everyone's clothes were so wet so t...

Southern Style Blog: Acadia
http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/acadia.html
Monday, May 25, 2015. Acadia is one of the most gorgeous places I've ever been to. We went for the day, hiked, played at the beach, and then drove home. It's about 3 hours from our house and totally worth the drive. We bought a year long pass so we can go back over and over again. We saw our first live starfish too! I love how green everything is and the contrast between the beach and the forest. August 6, 2015 at 12:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Church of Jesus Christ.

Southern Style Blog: October 2014
http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. We decided that the boys would be ninja turtles. There are actually quite a few other four-some groups that we will be exploring in the new few years. We didn't tell the kids until a few days before when we carved our pumpkins. We usually carve our pumpkins with our costume theme. I didn't get a pic of all 4 pumpkins but they all looked the same. Here are my ninja turtles! Thursday, October 30, 2014. I think this will be a tradition we keep. Monday, October 27, 2014. William was...

http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 23, 2015. My big boys wanted to do a puzzle just because. They didn't want any adult help and so for a few days I had this table out in my kitchen with a puzzle. I might have accidentally done 1 piece because I just can't help myself. Other than my 1 piece they boys did this 550 piece puzzle all by themselves. They were pretty proud of themselves. Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Then we made the short walk over to LL Bean to play in the fishtank.

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Monday, December 29, 2014. We don't know when we will see Uncle Kurt again and that's pretty sad because we love him so much. He has been with us through so much of our journey through graduate work and he was the one who convinced us to go to dental school. So if this all works out we owe him big time! Southern Style Blog: Beginnings of a Garden
http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/beginnings-of-garden.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Beginnings of a Garden. A garden bed is a big project and takes lots of planning. Thankfully I have a wonderful husband who does all the heavy lifting for me. We got this all going late because the dirt wasn't ready. Here in Maine to make dirt(I know, they have to make it? And it's ready only if there has been 7 dry days, which doesn't happen often. We finally got our dirt, leveled the back yard, and built the garden bed. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Wednesday, May 13, 2015. DC, Day 3. This was memorial day. We visited lots of the memorials and got tickets early that morning to go up inside the Washington Monument. We started the day off with Jefferson. One of my favorite! I just love that dome shape and all those steps right along the water. Absolutely gorgeous! A wonderful man was kenin enough to offer to take our pictures in from of the statue of Jefferson but didn't think to get Jefferson's head in the picture. Oh well! We are getting old! Then i...

Southern Style Blog: Dogs
http://southernstyleblog.blogspot.com/2015/05/dogs.html
Sunday, May 24, 2015. The kids on the other hand would love a pet. So instead of getting a pet we play with other people's pets. Our bishop breeds dogs once a year. The puppies need some more stimulation so we happily go provide some play time. The momma dog gets a little jealous that we are only playing with the puppies and not giving her enough attention. Matthew was obsessed but I was afraid he was going to kill the dogs. Samuel is like me.not an animal lover. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
