Most first-time campers attending Camp Nageela are eligible for a $1000 camper incentive grant through the Foundation for Jewish Camp. Eligibility requirements are simply that the child has never attended a Jewish overnight camp for 19 days and goes to a public school or non-Jewish private school. Every Nageela branch hosts various clubs that meet. Regularly throughout the year. Here are just a few of the examples. A weekly learning program for boys/girls in branches across the country where girls are given the opportunity to pursue a Jewish learning topic of choice. Counselors are paired to learn with the girls on a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio providing exceptional individualized attention. Each meeting also features a fun, joint, group activity and snack! Shabbaton Weekends | National Nageela

What is a Nageela Shabbaton? A Shabbaton is an overnight retreat that brings kids and teens together for a Shabbat weekend. Nageela Shabbatons take place throughout the year in different communities across the country and sometimes even in camp! In many ways, a Shabbaton is a mini camp experience, where old friends reunite and new campers join our Nageela family.
