Our Travels and Adventures Together. Wednesday, April 16, 2014. Digging It In Westport. The hole in the camper looked real bad. After the repair, we took the camper off out at our friends and immediately hit the road for Westport, Wa. We were invited to go Razor Clam digging by our good friends Don and Caroline. Clam digging is a tradition for these friends and I have really enjoyed the hunt. On the beach in Grayland getting ready to dig. Got my bucket and Clam Hawk. The Hawk then pulls up a big plug of ...

Our Travels and Adventures Together. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Fall Cast-n-Blast with Sting. The annual Cast and Blast took place last weekend. It was way more cast than blast. Chukkar were few and far between for the second year in a row. Now bass were another story. We fished slow and a bit deep for those slippery crawdad eaters and were able to pull in a nice dinner's worth. My Steelhead, just before release. Paul Harris and Mike Fuhrman running Snow Hole Rapid. We floated from the launch down to...
Canyonwren Travels: What I Have Been Up To
http://canyonwren.blogspot.com/2015/05/what-i-have-been-up-to.html
Our Travels and Adventures Together. Thursday, May 07, 2015. What I Have Been Up To. Caught this 5.48 lbs. smallmouth bass out of Lake Coeur d'Alene today. I have been going out every other day and fishing for bass and pike. I caught it on a deep diving Rapala and I hooked it deep. I prefer to release all that I catch but this one would have probably not made it. Posted by Dean Bennett. Lake Coeur d Alene. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Spring in Idaho: April 2010
http://alishute.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thoughts on this little part of the world as we enjoy the ever-changing weather of an Idaho spring! Friday, April 30, 2010. I love my new raised bed that Kevin and I put in last fall. I planted it too late in October to harvest anything, but the spinach that came up stayed all winter to burst on the scene for an early harvest this spring. I have been so enjoying going out every day to pick scrumptuous leaves for my sandwiches and salads. Saturday, April 24, 2010. Tubbs Hill photography club field trip.
Spring in Idaho: Only one queen bee...

Thoughts on this little part of the world as we enjoy the ever-changing weather of an Idaho spring! Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Only one queen bee. We have noticed that every spring a new queen is hatched and half the hive follows her to a new home. It is like a mini-tornado of bees swirling around the backyard. It can be quite intimidating with all those bees buzzing around. One thing Kevin noticed is that they raided a lot of the honey from the hive and were transporting it with them. I liked it so much a...

The newly formed North Idaho Digital SLR Club had its first field trip today on Tubbs Hill. It is a beautiful part of our community, right on the lake for everyone to enjoy. It was windy today, and warm when the sun poked through the clouds. cold when it hid behind. These shots are great! Minus all the people of course). Its All About Me.

Our Travels and Adventures Together. Monday, March 05, 2018. We had a bit of an adventure today. Barry and Leigh Vincent picked us up this morning and we headed out for a road trip up Highway 80 through La Huerta ending at our destination, the little village of Tequesquitlán. The proposed trip didn't end at Tequesquitlan, but local knowledge and many head shakes told us that we should not go on past that little town due to bad roads. On we drove. At one point Linda and Leigh told our fearless leader ...

Notes from Canyon Wren
What's a Canyon Wren? Found throughout the arid mountain country and canyonlands of western North America, the Canyon Wren nests and feeds in narrow rock crevices. Often, it announces its presence by its beautiful and distinctive song, a loud cascade of musical whistles.
