Travelled via the Snowy Mountains Highway we had a brief detour into Old Adaminaby viewing the huge Lake Eucumbene and the remnants of the old town before continuing towards Cooma while enjoying the beautiful alpine scenery. Stopping briefly at Cooma to refuel we commenced the long downhill run towards the Victorian coastline and Cann River where we would make a decision about where we would be staying.
