We had Christmas Tree Waffles with "ornaments" (M&Ms). I was planning and baking and decorating all week long and everything was over and destroyed in two hours. The house looked like a tornado tore threw it but we had so much fun! Tuesday, December 6, 2011. For the past couple of weeks I have been entertaining the idea of never telling Ramona and Max that Santa is real. Last year, Ramona HATED Santa. See a proof here. Anyway, on our Advent calendar the other day our activity was to "write a letter to Santa". No way! That would just confuse her. Instead, we made Jesus a birthday card. She immediately asked how we would give it to him? Ramona thought so. And HEB gives away free balloons to kids. BONUS! This activity was free, baby!

Sunday, January 28, 2018. This summer my grandma was diagnosed with ovarian cancer that had metastasized. No treatment. Just make her as comfortable as possible. I was extremely close to my grandma.
