Friday, January 29, 2016. Poor Sick Bubby :-(. Poor Lachlan has been one sick boy this week :-( He started throwing up on Monday.at school! He said that his tummy hurt before school but I thought he was trying to get a day off. For weeks he's been saying "Mommy, I don't have to go to school.some kids are just "NOT HERE" today! I guess he's heard the teacher use that phrase when kids are absent during attendance. Sooo.I thought he was faking. Turns out, he was NOT ;-). He kept saying "wish it away, Mama!

Friday, January 13, 2017. We had a little Christmas celebration with our cousins on the 29th.I only took a few pics but they were so cute I didn't want to miss them! The kids were so psyched for the gifts.I don't know what inspired them, but the boys had a push-up competition! The Daddies did not have a push-up competition ;-). We ordered in for the adults and kept it low-maintenance. It was a lovely night! The kids were spoiled rotten with gifts (as usual). Thanks guys! Aunt Julie and Uncle Ron.

Thursday, June 30, 2016. The kids had a fantastic overnight at Nana's last Friday! Nana offered to take the kids so that Daddy and I could have a date night. It was lovely! They went over to visit Ann's grand-cat Mittens on Saturday morning.what a cute kitty! Mittens isn't accustomed to kids but put up with the attention pretty well. Lachlan told me later "Mommy, Mittens isn't used to kids and he bit me, but I'm okay" - ha! Nana is a brave woman - she let Lachlan make his own pancakes for breakfast!

Thursday, March 31, 2016. The kids had a great time searching for eggs on Sunday. Lachlan is finally old enough to find and collect eggs - he was just starting to get the hang of it last year. Tuesday, November 29, 2016. Little Ray's Reptile Zoo. We found out on Sunday morning that Little Ray's Reptile Zoo. Was in Kingston for a show over the weekend. We decided on a whim to go take a look at it. This summer Emily went to a birthday party with Little Ray's, so we were familiar with their fun and interactive atmosphere. It's the end of another great year. 2015 was filled with good health, lots of family time, and some exciting events (a trip to Germany and Jessica starting school being the two major ones). Wednesday, June 29, 2016. Last Day of School! An entire school year. Has come and gone! My girls just finished junior kindergarten and grade 1 today. It was a great year, despite its early ups. By the end Jessica was used to the school routine and was always happy to go and see her friends. Both girls loved their teachers and learned a lot this year. Thursday, January 5, 2017. After our traditional New Year's Day. Dinner with family, we all went to Kingston's latest winter attraction: Lumina Borealis. At Fort Henry. It's a unique show that combines light, animation, and music as you walk through the halls of the fort. It was beautiful and definitely worth seeing! Picture courtesy of Becky and Albert!
