Jani Ashmore Personal History. Jani Ashmore was born in Denver, Colorado, the youngest of four children in her family. Within the first six months of her life, the family moved to their first dairy farm in the countryside north east of Denver. They lived on several different farms until she was 9 when they settled onto one piece of land where her parents lived until they retired. Being raised on a farm gave Jani an appreciation for and connection with nature. Evidence of Janis strive for achievement.
