Brief words of devotion or inspiration to bless your week. Come back next week for a new word. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. It's in HOW we touch Him. A woman came up on the throng behind him - and she touched the border of his garment, for she was saying to herself "If I may but tough his clothes I shall be cured.". Instantly she knew in her body she was healed. But that day only one in the crowd was healed. The Scripture says "He started to look around to see the one who had done this.". View my complet...

Lord, if You aren't going to be with me today . if I can't meet with you today and enter Your presence, then what's the use of even starting the day at all? Help me to be so marked by Your presence that I will be distinguished from those who do not know You, dear God. Posted by John @ 7:41 AM 0 Comments. Subscribe to Posts [ Atom. http://christianchurchsurveys.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Brief words of devotion or inspiration to bless your week. Come back next week for a new word. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. It's all Yours, anyway. Luke 17, the disciples said "Lord, increase our faith.". It's a statement like "heal us" or "give us this day ." They're asking for a miracle, and act of God, a gift. Yet Jesus didn't touch them with a magic wand and grant greater faith. In fact He told them a story. The story was about what they needed to to do increase their own faith. So, Lord, help me tod...

Brief words of devotion or inspiration to bless your week. Come back next week for a new word. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Can a little deception accomplish great good? The tricky thing about deception it doesn’t happen when I’m thinking about it. I wonder, when Jesus said to Judas, what you do, do quickly if Satan had so convinced Judas that this was the right thing to do that Judas actually felt good about his betrayal? Well, he was, but certainly not in the way he thought. Wednesday, July 22, 2009.

Brief words of devotion or inspiration to bless your week. Come back next week for a new word. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Joshua is certainly a book of battles - of being conquered and of conquering. I cannot read Joshua without coming to the conclusion that success against enemies is clearly tied to my walk with Jesus - a theme throughout the book. Conquer - because of partial obedience.
