Chesterfield Historic Town Site. Once a growing community on the Oregon Trail, Chesterfield, is now a ghost town. Many of the historic homes and buildings there have been restored and are worth touring. Established in 1879, Chesterfield was a Mormon settlement, and many of the 23 buildings that survive today are evidence of that way of life.
