What about Mommy?: April 2006

http://whataboutmommy.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html

Thursday, April 27, 2006. The Fart Machine Mystery. After feeling down for the last, well, forever, I thought it was time for some fun. so, I'm going to make a confession. My family is obsessed with farts (okay Stephanie. And Tracy, don't look me directly in the eye next time you see me). We talk about farts, laugh about farts, even read about farts. We searched it out and found the fart machine in my suitcase, still turned off. How did it continue to fart when it was off? Oh, the mystery! My daughter wa...

ministones: If it weren't for a healthy dose of cynicism, I'd be a mess right now

http://ministones.blogspot.com/2006/08/if-it-werent-for-healthy-dose-of.html

The things that will never make it in the baby books and other musings from a stay at home mom. Wednesday, August 30, 2006. If it weren't for a healthy dose of cynicism, I'd be a mess right now. I should be touched. I. I suspect that even though I'll miss them, I'll get along just fine without my friends for a year or two. No doubt. But if this line of thought keeps me from drowning in a puddle of my own tears as I say 10 days' worth of constant goodbyes, then it's worth it. Posted by Rebecca @ 2:25 PM.

The things that will never make it in the baby books and other musings from a stay at home mom. Thursday, August 31, 2006. The skinny on my pants. Yes, pack as many ziplock bags and Pullups as you can find, and ixnay on the itchenkay, in case anyone else has the same burning questions.). There was some other ridiculous information about everything being dressier and women wearing heels to the playground, but I really couldn't get past that first sentence. I was blinded by the skinny pants. At 5'2", the w...

Stuck on Survive: September 2007

http://stuck-on-survive.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html

Musings of a working wife and mother. Sunday, September 30, 2007. My Last book update. Was about 2 weeks ago and I've read quite a few books in that time. My mother left a bag full of books on her last visit. My favorite of these is Once Upon A Day. Another very interesting title was The Stolen Child. Is a "real-life" story of a changeling who grew up as the child he replaced, and also the story of the human child and his life with the fairies. Once you accept the basic premise the remainder of the b...
