Friday, July 31, 2009. Just a handful of new items in the shop. The "New York Summer dress" is actually something I bought from another seller, but sadly it came in the mail today and didn't fit. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Just popping in to let you know I'm still alive :P! I've been busy trying to work on school projects, get my schedule for after the holidays figured out, study, get involved with the Deaf Community, etc. It's all been pretty fun, actually! I found a bunch of things I bought for the shop a long time ago, so I'll be posting them in handfuls starting today :D. Monday, February 20, 2012. Wow, this morning the thrift gods really rewarded me for waking up early and taking a walk down to my local shops! I found a 50s Chinese novelty print cotton shirtwaist dress, a hand tailored 50s emerald silk faille blazer, and a 50s celluloid clamper bracelet- all my size, and strangely well coordinated when worm together! It's like the perfect vintage spring outfit was just waiting for me to gather it from three different spots! Labels: Vintage fashion clothing shopping 1950s.

Monday, March 19, 2012. I don't splurge on myself all that often, but when I do I make it count! Yesterday I visited the Pier Show, it has 500 antique, jewelry and vintage clothing vendors in a huge convention center! Needless to say, I could have spent days in there and emptied my whole life's savings. But I compromised and came away with two pieces I've been searching for for ages now. Saturday, October 31, 2009. I watched The Nightmare Before Christmas today! I'd never seen it before so I thought it only appropriate on this Halloween 2009 to title the blog from the first song in the movie :). Today we spent the day at my aunts house (they're in Miami so we' have the whole house to ourselves) we just relaxed watched movies, ate yummy food and ignored the doorbell and left the lights off to avoid the Trick or Treaters!
