Hey gang Captain Randel checking in with a fish report from our most recent 2.5 day trip that retuned Monday July 4th. We landed 22 Yellowtail, 4 Yellowfin Tuna, 1 Bluefin Tuna and our first Dorado of the season fishing close to home around 40 to 50 miles Southwest of San Diego. Lots of fish around to look. The mighty Chief splashed on Tuesday April 26th after passing US Coast Guard hull inspection (every 2 years) with flying colors with only 3 minor fix its that we addressed on the spot. The Coast Guard inspector was impressed by the hull construction and overall condition of the vessel. We did install a transducer for our new state. Chief dry dock update 4-19-16. April 19, 2016.
