From a small farm in Maine to the city of Davao in the Philippines, follow my journey on the path my King has chosen. The path of a missionary midwife. Saturday, October 11, 2014. A midwife's life is often filled with unpredictable events. One never knows when baby will come or how long labor will be. This past weekend I was blessed to attend the labor and birth of a dear friend. When we arrived she was checked in and we discovered that she was only 1cm dilated. As the morning moved on we did what we cou...

Since I Have Been Redeemed: Goats Milk Formula
http://restinginhispromise.blogspot.com/2013/01/goats-milk-formula_24.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. I thought I would share with everyone, the recipe I use to make goats milk formula. With my last two babies, I really wanted to nurse them, and both of them ended up being tongue tide, they were not efficient at nursing. I tried hard to pump, but had not luck as my milk supply was already low. I tried about every thing heard of to boost my supply, but sadly nothing worked. So in a attempt not to use commercial formula, it just sounds yucky! How does that even happen! Depending...

http://sarah-princessofgod.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
From a small farm in Maine to the city of Davao in the Philippines, follow my journey on the path my King has chosen. The path of a missionary midwife. Saturday, April 26, 2014. It was nearing the end of a long shift. I had already transported a laboring mother and sent another who was in early labor home. I looked up as the door creaked and I heard the familiar call of “Labor”. She told me that she had thought she would be sent home and had not brought anything for birth. I explained that either way...

Since I Have Been Redeemed: School House
http://restinginhispromise.blogspot.com/p/school-house.html
I have the privilege to be able to homeschool my daughter(and son when old enough)! I enjoy this soo much! This is our first year, and it's been soo amazing to see how much my daughter has grown, matured, and flourished! Here I will posts stuff that is going on from time to time in our "school house"! For our homeschooling group, they put on a family supper, with a Mexican theme, to show their monthly character trait of "hospitality". So by the idea of a friend we decided to study Mexico in school too.

From a small farm in Maine to the city of Davao in the Philippines, follow my journey on the path my King has chosen. The path of a missionary midwife. Friday, May 23, 2014. A month and a day. A month and a day may quickly pass by, yet at other times it drags slowly onward. I arrived to shift with many hopes and prayers that I would be privileged to welcome a sweet baby into the world. It had been over a month now! However, I knew that God's timing would be perfect and I had better be patient. I was remi...
