Encouraging worKing DADS to strive. For a better balance. I'm a dad. Full stop. Simple as that. Nothing out of the ordinary. Except for the fact that, during 2013, I took four months of Additional Paternity Leave (now Shared Parental Leave) to look after my children. At the end of that time, the thought of going back to work full-time, and losing out on quality time with the kids, was a bit depressing. In my opinion this ought to be the norm but, so far, it's not.
