http://classickitsch.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. I can barely believe that tonight is the last day of October, but I'm excited to use this little holiday as an excuse to eat way too much candy, watch The Shining, and roast pumpkin seeds, and drink seasonal beer. Yep! It's going to be a super. Productive weekend.or not, that's okay too. Have a safe and fun weekend! Image via Journey Kitchen. Monday, October 27, 2014. Bring Your Desk to Work Day. The group has kickstarter right now that you can check out here. ON TOP OF THE WORLD.
Classic Kitsch: Clever NYC Loft
http://classickitsch.blogspot.com/2015/03/clever-nyc-loft.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. As an interior designer and a college student living in small cramped spaces I'm always on the lookout for creative space saving ideas. This NYC loft in the Tribeca area is a mere 900 square feet but feels extremely spacious. The original partitions in the loft were removed and replaced with a central mass that houses the kitchen unit, a master bedroom and adjoining bathroom. Looking for a little privacy? Classic Kitsch: WHY THE VIS-A-VIS BENCH IS THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO PUBLIC SPACES
http://classickitsch.blogspot.com/2015/02/why-vis-vis-bench-is-perfect-solution.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. WHY THE VIS-A-VIS BENCH IS THE PERFECT SOLUTION TO PUBLIC SPACES. The other day I was sitting on a bench in a restaurant waiting for my table to be ready, while I was waiting someone sat down right next to me. Now, it wasn't the fact that someone sat next to me, it was that it was just. Is perfect. While you're most likely sitting right next to a stranger, the opposite views give you a little bit more privacy and separation. Hello comfort zone, we missed you.

http://clydeandnora.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
About Clyde and Nora. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Splurge or Save}.Trapeze Dress. What a b-e-a-utiful color! I love the vibrant and rich color or papaya for spring and summer. The trapeze silhouette is so attractive. It's fun, flirty and elegant. This dress could easily go from Sunday church with this. To Monday brunch with this. To Tuesday night drinks and dinner with this. The pleated dress is by Halston Heritage. While the layered dress is by Forever 21. Posted by Sarah Carlson. I saw this on Tumblr.
Sarah Carlson Etc.: Staying Sane
http://sarahcarlsonetc.blogspot.com/2014/12/staying-sane.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2014. Welcome back from the holiday weekend. How glorious was it to hang with friends and family over wine and pie? We did Thanksgiving with our family friends and brought the dessert. I worked a Black Friday shift, which is always kind of a blast, and we finished the long weekend with a lazy Saturday brunch and family game night––Scattergories and brandy slush is absurd. 1) I read this article. Finish 100 Years of Solitude. As well as Both Flesh and Not. Over winter break.). 4) Chee...
Clyde and Nora: June 2012
http://clydeandnora.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
About Clyde and Nora. Thursday, June 28, 2012. A Not Too Sappy Love Poem. I found this on Pinterest. And fell in love! I'm normally not one for love poetry. Sure, I love a good book of poems, but the love ones always feel the same. Overly emotional, oozing with sap and lovey goop. This poem by Hafiz, a fourteenth century poet, really makes me smile. It's simple and there is a child like element of simplicity, which I adore. Wouldn't it make a beautiful quote for a wedding? Posted by Sarah Carlson. On whi...
Clyde and Nora: Thankful
http://clydeandnora.blogspot.com/2012/11/thankful.html
About Clyde and Nora. Friday, November 2, 2012. The month of Thanksgiving. One of my friends wasn't born in America (but she recently got her U.S. citizenship, yay! So this year we're showing her how Thanksgiving works around here. :) Every Thursday I'll be talking about something for which I'm thankful; and I'll be asking the same of you. I want to know what makes you feel grateful. It doesn't have to be big; we're just showing some gratitude. Since I missed the first Thursday . . . A CUP OF JO.
Clyde and Nora: July 2012
http://clydeandnora.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
About Clyde and Nora. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Good Rivers Make Good Neighbors. I'm headed over to Minnesota on this fine day for a productive and fun excursion. I've got a meeting right away once I get to The Cities and then we're off shopping! I've got Mom, Dad, and Abby. In tow. It's so wonderful living in Western Wisconsin, because I sometimes get that small town feel, but we're really very close to some fantastic metropolitan areas, like the Cities and Chicago. I think this shirt. Yesterday we talked...

About Clyde and Nora. Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Fall Threads}.Auntie's Parlor. This fall we've seen so many fun and applicable trends like all black, oxblood, and classic American Sportswear. One of the most spectacular looks was beautiful brocades. Although I've never really been a granny chic enthusiast, these elaborate textiles reminded me of the sofas that populate your tea drinking, crumpet nibbling auntie. They're prim, proper, and luxurious. Posted by Sarah Carlson. Friday, October 26, 2012.

About Clyde and Nora. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. Weekend Update}.A Night at the Opera. Over the weekend, Nick and I went to the Minnesota Opera's production of Werther by Jules Massenet. We were able to go opening night and it was absolutely fantastic. The cast was phenomenal with James Valenti. Pictured above) as the lead tenor, Werther, and Roxana Constantinescu. A program by the MN Opera. Nick and I were fortunate enough to attend an after party with the cast at Sakura. Posted by Sarah Carlson. To kee...

About Clyde and Nora. Monday, November 12, 2012. Weekend Update}.An Update! Happy Monday, all! You may have noticed a few changes. Some big ones, actually! After a lot of consideration, I changed the blog. My life has been changing like crazy over the past few months, and it was about time my blog reflected those changes. At a point, I had to pick up and move on. In a large part, that meant making the blog something new. Today we're starting a fresh. You can find me at Sarah Carlson Etc. Posted by Sarah ...

Some bad scribbles I wanted organized somewhere. On days like this you need to put on a jacket, put on another jacket, put on music you've never listened to before, and take a walk. Take a good long walk. One where you walk til you don't want to hate your life anymore and then turn around and walk back home. Make side trips. Go past a friend's old house. Go to the grocery store. Go through the cemetery. A cemetery is just a park. I don't know what it means to be "asleep in jesus.". Someone told me that t...
