A peaceful haven with a historic past. The tiny hamlet of St Ervan is a peaceful place to holiday, whilst still being close to the coast and other attractions of Cornwall. The ancient church dates from 1422 and was originally dedicated to St Hermes, a Celtic saint. It was added to over the centuries and sits at the heart of the cluster of houses which make up the hamlet, known as the Churchtown (or church yard). Churchtown Farmhouse once also served as the local alehouse and was known as the Kiddlywink.

Eating, drinking and relaxing at the Farmhouse. We serve a traditional farmhouse breakfast which includes. A buffet of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc and the usual cooked breakfasts such as Full English, Smoked Salmon and Scrambled eggs, etc. We use locally-sourced products where possible - eg sausages, bacon, yoghurt, bread, fruit and preserves - homemade fruit compotes, and eggs from our own hens.
