Saturday, July 12, 2008. We have a temple! In the past, we've had to drive at least 2 hours to get to the temple. Now, I'm not complaining about that. I realize that MANY people live much farther than that from a temple. Our temple district has actually been the Logan Temple.a good 2 hours from Burley. We also have the Boise, Idaho Falls, Rexburg, and Ogden Temples within a 2 1/2 hour drive radius! Lucky, I know, but guess what! We now have the Twin Falls Temple 35 minutes away! Sunday, December 30, 2012. The past few days have been a time of reflection, grieving and gratitude. My best friend from childhood lost her dear husband this week after a 3 year battle with cancer. During the last General Conference, Elder Uchtdorf gave the talk "Of Regrets and Resolutions". I remember listening to this talk and thinking of Kayla and Beav. This wasn't just another General Conference talk - but he was describing what they are experiencing at that moment. I wish I had let myself be happier.
