Couldn't understand what she and her father were discussing. But let me tell you this - she was interested in the sewer system! She asked a million questions. Pointed at the map. Asked more questions. Her father would answer. I was amazed. She had to be only 4 or 5. This was the only place that kinda creeped us out.

The summer of 2014 our vegetable garden expanded. And Brad and Lauren planted more variety of vegetables: okra, tomatoes, summer squash, watermelon, green beans, zucchini, red peppers, jalapeño peppers and onions. Oh, and carrots. Sunday, July 27, 2014. The Day We Visited The Statue. First let me tell you that I STALKED the SOL website for tickets. I'd check twice a day. Why did I do all that? First, the tickets are timed and I wanted a morning slot. Secondly, and the most important thing, was that I wanted CROWN TICKETS. They are limited and sell out quickly. So when tickets became available for July, I slapped my credit card down to buy 2 crown access tickets. $18 each. 9:00am. Other than that, the ferry ride was uneventful.

It was a lot of firsts for our family; my first time in a pop-up, the girls' first time camping, Sami's first time fishing and hiking all.the.way! It rained the entire first day we were there- so the girls enjoyed playing on all of the mattresses in the pop-up. Samantha was SO EXCITED to go fishing! Showing off her pole. They had a blast!

The garage doors are going in. they are cedar on front and insulated , they really look great. The tile is being started in master bath. Painting is under way, i decided to just paint the house one color and then once we are in and i have some time to think about what i want to do in each room, i will change the colors. My mom would make a cake in the morning for something that day and she would wake me up first and give me the beaters before my sisters got up. Let the spoiled rotten comments fly!
