It is based on the Connecticut Guidelines for Educator Evaluation, developed by a diverse group of educators in June 2012 and on best practice research from around the country. The system is used for evaluating teachers and administrators. All teachers will be evaluated in four categories, grouped in two major focus areas: Teacher Practice and Student Outcomes.
