amber's little wonders: You need a Star at the top!
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2012/12/you-need-star-at-top.html
Wednesday, December 12, 2012. You need a Star at the top! It looks like the fact that we do not have a star a top our tree bothers Snowy. He took one of our normal smaller star tree ornaments and sat with it at our very tippy top. Thank you for the subtle reminder Snowy! He must have heard the not so subtle reminders my boys have been giving me ;). Posted by Amber Joy. Elf on the Shelf. Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). amber's little wonders: A monumental first
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-monumental-first.html
Sunday, December 16, 2012. In all the history of this little family of five we have constructed our very first “Gingerbread” house! Actually, it was the four of us since Daddy was away on business in D.C. And if you count the one construction worker who felt it was necessary to taste test every type of candy we had to put on the house (I guess he was part of the Health and Safety Department), then it was the three of us. amber's little wonders: Tape Trap
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2012/12/tape-trap.html
Friday, December 14, 2012. Snowy is showing his mischievous side once again. Or, maybe he just doesn’t want the boys to go to school today. Just because it’s Friday does not mean school doesn’t matter (which was my motto only half the time in college). I wonder what they will think about this! Posted by Amber Joy. Elf on the Shelf. amber's little wonders: March 2013
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Today was Brayden’s fourth birthday. Last night, since Sean is away for Navy training, I let Brayden sleep in the bed with me. I wanted us to wake up together on his birthday. This morning, even before the sun came up and while the rest of the world slept including my now four year old son, I laid awake watching him. His sleepy voice asked, “Am I four now? Yes my sweet b-bop you are four and suddenly so big. Three to four feels so much more then one year. Maybe because hi...So, m...

Cute Colton Phrases and Stories. If you swallow gum you have fresh smelling poo.". At Costco they were doing remodeling, he says, "The world is changing in my life.". In Colton's primary talk titled, "My family and I can serve others," he shared a story about giving a secret gift to our neighbor, read a scipture on service, and then held up a combat picture he drew of G.I. Joe and explained that soldiers give service by protecting us, and then concluded with "Soldiers save the planet! Me: yeah, okay.

amber's little wonders: October 2012

Monday, October 22, 2012. Even if it’s at our local grocery store, at 8:00 pm no less, by golly, we will pick out our pumpkins as a family. One for each boy. It’s tradition. Normally we make a family outing of it and drive into the country to a quaint pumpkin patch. We take the hayride, we get lost in the corn maze, we take fifty photos (maybe more), and walk away with three absurdly over priced pumpkins. This year that was not in the cards for us. You keep tradition the best you can : ). Her style is mu...

amber's little wonders: August 2012
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 31, 2012. This begins in the Lego aisle with my three-year-old begging for a Star Wars Lego set that we already have. 8220;We already have those Legos at home. Somewhere. Mommy can find them an build it again for you.” He doesn’t understand, and we leave the aisle with the whole store wondering why. Just doesn’t buy the $12.99 set and let everyone shop in peace. Awesome mom I am. It is to share a cool link I found on Lego.com for all those moms who have been in this very spot. For writing...

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Brayden Maverick turned Three! My sweet bop, b-bop, turned three. I think that officially no longer makes him my baby. He still his my little buddy though. I am glad I have him to cuddle with in the morning and watch cooking shows together. I am glad he enjoys scrubbing along beside me as I clean the house. I am glad he puts his arms up to me and pleads, “Hold You.”. I am glad he loves to sit in my lap and read books with me. I am glad that he loves routines and every time.

amber's little wonders: Pious Elf
http://amberslittlewonders.blogspot.com/2012/12/pious-elf.html
Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Snowy the Elf spent the night among the sheep and the donkeys as he showed his respect to our Nativity. We even left a teeny tiny note to the boys admiring the hard work and service they did for their Mommy over the weekend to clean the house for family guests. He encouraged them to keep it up. Posted by Amber Joy. Elf on the Shelf. January 3, 2013 at 10:38 PM. I like how polite snowy is. Subscribe to: Post Comments ( Atom ). Create your own visitor map! 30 for 30 Remix. My di...
