Friday, March 2, 2012. Nutcracker Tea Nov. 28th, 2010. Okay so I am over a year behind - I know. Hopefully I will catch up this year! Here is a start at it! On Sunday, Nov. 28th, 2010 Hadley and I went to a Nutcracker Tea put on by a local Ballet Group. We had a good seat at a table up by the stage. Our friend, Kate and her Mom, Karen were there also, but they were also joined by a table full of family! They look so young and sweet! Hadley enjoyed the hot chocolate and all the sugary treats! Tuesday, March 6, 2012. PTA Pizza Tour and Party Dec. 2010. We have fun with our friends from The Colony Early Childhood PTA. Every December the children's outing is to CiCi's Pizza. First there is a tour of the kitchen to learn about preparing for the day, making dough, cooking pizza and all the behind the scenes fun! Brought back memories of when Dave managed a pizza place in Parsons while I was growing up. Then back out in the dining area the kids got to make their very own pizzas! Feb 16th, 2012.

My life.Blogger style. Sunday, March 01, 2009. So, my sister got one me for not blogging lately, so this one's for her. I discovered this simple breakfast recipe a few weeks ago and it's already a family favorite! I use the "Southwestern Style" Egg Beaters and add green onion and mushrooms if I have them. Try them! And if you're watching your diet, they are only 3 Weight Watcher points! 12 turkey bacon strips. 1-1/2 cups egg substitute. 6 tablespoons shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend.

My life.Blogger style. Friday, January 30, 2009. Jay and I went to see Sonny Landreth last evening. He is a blues slide guitar player from Louisana. We have seen Sonny several times in the past in this area as well as in Chicago a few years ago at the Eric Clapton Crossroads guitar festival. I highly recommend seeing him if he's ever in your area! We got to meet up with him after the show. Thursday, January 29, 2009. So let's hope he doesn't see his shawdow! My life.Blogger style. Thursday, February 12, 2009. I've been thinking about Friday the 13th today and decided to do a little research about this day. Below is what I gathered.(By the way, there are 3 Friday the 13ths in 2009. tomorrow, in March and in November. The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia. According to the Stress Management Center and Phobia Institute in Asheville, NC, an estimated 17 to 21 million people in the US are affected by a fear of this day. Go Red for Women!

If you're watching Weight Watcher points, 3/4 cup is 4 pts. 1-32oz package frozen hash browns. 1-16oz fat free sour cream. 1 - 10-1/2 oz can low fat condensed cream of chicken soup. 1- 8oz package low-fat shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. 1/4 C light stick butter. It's been a while since I posted.sorry about that, but I think most of you who read this are also my "friends" on Facebook and I've been better with updating there. Nathans friend Alyssa was here the later part of last week and they had a lot of fun. Trip to DC to see the sites, bowling, egg coloring, candy making, movies, and just enjoying their time together, we all had fun! Jay is good, he's gearing up for his Nissan season. The first show is May 9th.

My life.Blogger style. Saturday, June 20, 2009. Can you believe I have never made a Strawberry pie? With all the baking/cooking I love to do this was a first. Jay loves anything Strawberry so I picked some local strawberries up at a fruit market and made a pie this morning. Looks yummy! Can't wait to try a small piece! That pie looks great and I know it will be, your mom was making one for your dad today. Hope all is well with you and Jay and Nathan. All is well here in PA. Take care, we love you.
