The purse from about five years ago.it was perfect in scale and colour and the stitching didn't fray.too easy! So here is the BEFORE photo:. And here is the AFTER photo:. I am on the war-path against glue and nylon lace. The clothes on these dolls were cheap and cheerful with modern materials and minimal stitching.just more globs of glue and yards and yards of nylon lace! I paid $1 for a grey shirt-blouse at a charity shop which I thought was "polished cotton". It wasn't until I got home and started to cut it up that I noticed the tag down the bottom near the hem which said 100% Pure Silk! That was the best $1 that I ever spent! So one down, seven to go!
