Today, I purchased Macaroons to take for a mid-afternoon snack and they were delicious. Today marked the opening day of the new Far Western Tavern and like so many others, Peter, Crystal and I could not wait to try it. We arrived at about 1:30 pm and were seated right away. Food, Wine, Friends, Work, Life. Wine Tasting in Paso Robles. 2 weeks ago we visited several locations in Paso Robles, Including Eberle, Thunderbolt, Le Cuvier and Per Cazo. We started the day at Eberle and found that they still produce award quality wines at extremely reasonable prices. There is a reason why we chose to make this a stop on nearly every trip to Paso. The third place that we visited was Le Cuvier. Excellent wines with some having been released just that week! Posted in Beer and Wine.

I hope that everyone had a good time with friends and/or family watching the Super Bowl today. There were so many wonderful food items today, but one of them stood out more than any other, the absolutely amazing Buffalo wings that my dad made. Unlike many of the other wing recipes I have found, these do not require frying, rather they marinade for 2 days and are baked and then broiled.
