About the trainer Michael Godfrey. As a teenager Michael rode race horses. At the age of 17 he rode in his first event. In 1986 he rode in his first Rolex in Kentucky and was long listed for the 1987 Pan Am games. 1989 the mare he rode was USEA horse of the year. 1990 the horse he rode was USEA mare of the year and horse of the year.
