COWGIRL QUILTER.The Quilted Mule. Sunday, August 2, 2015. I had such a wonderful day on Saturday! Shortly after we got home Richard headed up to the sawmill to work a little and then after an hour or so he was back down to the house. The sawmill is only a few hundred feet away from the house. He came in and cooled off and then said, "you wanna take a 4-wheeler ride? Hunter was still asleep at mom's and I called to let her know where I was going. We headed out through the woods! After traveling through th...

I have 9 more of them finished. They still need to be trimmed to size but the applique is done on them. Kathy . aka Nana. Ive got t...
CowgirlQuilter...The Quilted Mule: Catching up...
http://quiltingcowgirl.blogspot.com/2015/05/catching-up.html
COWGIRL QUILTER.The Quilted Mule. Thursday, May 14, 2015. I finally got some sewing done. I now have enough half-square triangles and 4 patches to do 27 more blocks for my Jacob's Ladder. I will now work on piecing those. I'm anxious to get this one finished, I really like how it is looking so far. Do you remember a little while back that I mentioned that I had a bird that built a nest in my wreath on my front door? Anyway, he did move the snake for me, he took him over in the woods and turned him loose.

Cowgirl Quilt Designs Blog
Cowgirl Quilt Designs Blog. Monday, September 16, 2013. I love using Angelina Film for machine embroidery. It gives a glossy, sparkly texture that is different from anything else. And, always being thrifty, I like to save every little piece of leftover film. Now I’ve discovered a fun way to use up those scraps and add another layer of texture and sparkle to my embroidered designs – beads! These beads are so special! The Film only bonds to itself so it will shrink down on itself and you will begin to see ...

Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of!
Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of! December 23, 2009. It's Christmas time. And along with that came a big snow for us this year! We got a total of seven inches in Gray. It was absolutely beautiful! We snapped a few pictures for our Christmas card and played non stop in it. Dru also got to meet the newest addition to the Rainey clan, baby cousin Abigail. She is so sweet and snuggly. Dru loved her and hasn't stopped asking for a baby sister since! Links to this post.

Cowgirl Ramblings
Cowgirl is an attitude, really. A pioneer spirit, a special American brand of courage. The cowgirl faces life head on, lives by her own lights, and makes no excuses. Cowgirls take stands. They speak up. They defend the things they hold dear." - Dale Evans Rogers (from The Cowgirl Companion by Gail Gilchriest). Sunday, April 26, 2009. A Tale Of Barbed Wire. All I know is: 1) don't drive around in other people's pastures after dark, and 2) don't ever follow directions from my sister-in-law! I can't complai...
