http://craftylis.blogspot.com/2009/07/whoops.html
Saturday, 4 July 2009. Wow, I think I almost forgot that I had a blog to update. *blush*. I have been working on a few things knitting wise, but no photos or rav projects yet. I will share some of my latest handspun, instead! Wow, they are all absolutely gorgeous! 4 July 2009 at 11:45 pm. Hope you find time to knit them up. 5 July 2009 at 9:12 am. 5 July 2009 at 9:33 am. 7 July 2009 at 2:08 pm. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Make your own badge here. Crafty Lis: Music to my ears. erm, I mean eyes.
http://craftylis.blogspot.com/2009/05/music-to-my-ears-erm-i-mean-eyes.html
Sunday, 17 May 2009. Music to my ears. erm, I mean eyes. I just read a wonderful post on a blog @ St. Seraphina Knits. I need 2,000 yds for the shawl I want to make. I am making this yarn one strand at a time on a tiny drop spindle. But some of us like the process as much as the result. We don't count the hours other than to count them as hours well-spent making something beautiful with our hands. I have no idea how many hours it took! When I work with fiber I feel like I am outside of time. It better...

Thursday, 23 July 2009. Wow, I have a lot to catch up on all of a sudden. Liesl by Ysolda Teague. Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran Tweed. This was a really fast knit, until I got to joining for the sleeves, and then I had a bit of an ARGH moment, because it's not explained all that well how to do it in the pattern, and magic loop and I aren't the best of friends yet, but I plowed through it. The finished object looks better on a hanger than it does on me, sigh. I'm hoping I will like it more with wear, we will see.

http://craftylis.blogspot.com/2010_03_08_archive.html
Monday, 8 March 2010. FO: Aestlight I and II. I fell in love with this pattern as soon as I saw it. There aren't many out there for shawls that work really well with variegated yarn, so that made it even more exciting. The main body of the shawl flew off the needles, and was great tv knitting, but the edging became very tedious towards the end. I found it very fiddly, but it was worth it to see the results, and the magic of blocking is always like unearthing a completely different item. Loopy 20-somethin...

Confessions of a Serial Crafter: May 2011
http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Monday, May 9, 2011. I got some beautiful hand-made Mother's Day cards from my boys this year. Inside the one from L were these lovely sentiments. Hmmm good candidate for PassiveAggressiveNotes.com. He did clarify, after I asked, that my "complaining" relates to them not doing what I ask them to do, for example, cleaning up after themselves, tidying their room etc, so it's not really about me just complaining A LOT. Still. This card is definitely a keeper.
Knit Glob: Time to Knit!
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010/11/time-to-knit.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Monday, November 01, 2010. Some health issues lately have meant that I have had a heap of time for knitting, and starting and even finishing some things! I finally finished my Aeolian Shawl. Frustratingly, the photos don’t even SHOW the beads, but TRUST ME they are there! This was knit in Knit Picks Gloss Lace in the Raisin colourway and I used 1.5 skeins (about 660m). I totally lost track of how many packets of beads I used - maybe about 5 packets of 6gms? The blog ...
Knit Glob: I love Noro!
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2011/06/i-love-norohttp2bpblogspotcom.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. I’m always surprised by how Noro. The knots, I am not so fond of, but found in my last project, which took 19 balls of Noro, probably only 4 balls that contained knots at all! A very low hit rate! So here is my latest and greatest Noro project; The Noro Paintbox Log Cabin. A brilliantly simple, yet effective way to maximise the best of Noro. It is gorgeous, and now youve got me thinking about how exactly you did join it all together. Beautif...
Knit Glob: January 2010
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Saturday, January 02, 2010. I love early January, when we look back at what we accomplished in the past year. It's a bit of a knit-blogging tradition I think, to assess what we achieved and plan for the upcoming year. For me, 2009 was the year of the shawl. Knitting a triangular shawl was one of my goals for myself in 2009. I made far less socks than I have in the last 2 previous years, this year only finishing 7 pairs! Goals for 2010 include:.
Knit Glob: Hi Blog!
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2011/01/hi-blog.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Monday, April 04, 2011. Poor neglected blog. I’ve tried several times to write an interesting and entertaining blog post in the past 5 months, but nothing has been forthcoming. Even the annual end-of-year wrap-up and review post for 2010 was missed (Actually I started it and it’s still sitting cold and lonely in my list of drafts). Of course there have been other things being made, but today it’s all about the socks. They are all gorgeous! Theyre all beautiful socks ...
Knit Glob: The rest of the vests
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010/07/rest-of-vests.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. The rest of the vests. As promised, here are the rest of the vests! The first is knit in Jo Sharp Classic 8 ply and the pattern is Ms. Marigold. Long time readers might remember that way back in 2007. I made this same vest in the same yarn. Jacki did also. I'm very happy with it, and it does work up so very quickly. Lovely vests. I knitted a fair isle vest once and after sewing in all the ends, I decided that I will not knit one again. Confe...
Confessions of a Serial Crafter: Phases
http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2011/06/phases.html
Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Do you go through different phases with your knitting? Or whatever craft(s) you like to do? After a few years of knitting it's becoming apparent to me that I do. For a while it was socks. I couldn't get enough of knitting socks. I even started this year out (again! With my stash-sock-club, and I did well with that until my new phase started to take over. Head, Heart and Hands. Scarves and cowls it was! Posted by Lou's Mum. Mum to 3, working part-...
Confessions of a Serial Crafter: A couple of softies
http://craftconfessions.blogspot.com/2010/01/couple-of-softies.html
Confessions of a Serial Crafter. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. A couple of softies. More Christmas gifts made by me, but this time on the sewing machine. This was my first time making softies like this, and it was kind of fun. Up to the point where I had to sew up the hole left for stuffing! I'm a little disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm over them from the kids, after all my efforts! But really I should have expected that. Both of these fabrics are by. Posted by Lou's Mum. Knit Glob: Metrosexual Man
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2010/09/metrosexual-man.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Tuesday, September 07, 2010. So my idea was to make him something modern, colourful, funky and dare I say it, a little bit trendy. Urbanista. Seemed to fit the bill nicely, even the name evokes images of street-side cafes and Sunday brunch. I think it is very cool and funky. Hubby’s verdict? Too metrosexual. I guess he likes the thug look. It looks great-tsk, tsk, what a waste if hes not into it.maybe tell him its Scottish ;o) He looks Brucieful! Lovely hat. x.
Knit Glob
http://knitglob.blogspot.com/2012/01/i-havent-forgotten-blog-entirely-but.html
Obsessive ramblings of a knit addict. Friday, January 20, 2012. I haven’t forgotten the blog entirely, but have been a terribly slack blogger in the past year. I don’t foresee any great improvement on that front either unfortunately . I often don’t have the energy to write a post or the content to write about! So here we go:. Socks - 8 pairs, focusing on texture in the first half of the year and colour in the last half. Toys - 4 - fussy fiddly, multi-piece adorable toys. So for 2012 I have some big goals:.

Wednesday, 10 March 2010. Here's another long finished project that I had yet to add to my blog, so off we go. This yarn is so soft and has a great drape. it's super warm and heavy though, not all that great for Queensland knitting XD. I really enjoyed knitting with it though. shame it was so expensive. The pattern really is quite ingenious, it's so simple and easy, but has great results. Monday, 8 March 2010. FO: Aestlight I and II. There is more rambling on my project pages on Ravelry. I even let my pa...
