The Journey to Four. June 28, 2011. A couple weeks later, I had to get a D&C because I wasn’t recovering properly. I went through so many emotions during this time. By nature, I’m a thinker. I always try and find a logical reason for every problem. None of it made any sense. How could we have had a healthy first pregnancy with Ian and miscarry after a normal birth? The Journey to Four. June 18, 2011. It’s a day I will never forget. It was one of the darkest days for our family. It was the day that we lost a member of our family, Baby Crawford #2. I was 11 weeks. After 13 hours in the hospital, we were finally home. I crawled into my bed, curled up in a fetal position and sobbed until I fell asleep. It all felt like a bad dream.
