Sunday, July 31, 2011. Day Three - Favorite Television Program. When I was little it was the. Brady Bunch. I just love love loved that show! Same thing on the first minute of the show kn. Growing up it was all those 80s family shows: The Cosby Show, Family Ties, Growing Pains. For a brief period (9th/10th grade) I loved Miami Vice. Pitiful. The 90s were Seinfeld and Friends and then began the Law. While in Germany we watched what AFN had to offer: mostly reality shows. Gotta go, Criminal Minds is on!

Monday, February 25, 2013. On a very cold day the US Army retired 17 Soldiers. Mine was one of them. The program read like this:. The Meritorious Service Medal awarded at retirement is his 4th MSM). Here are a few photos. I wish you could see the cold! Talking about how this is all going to go down. SB receiving Retirement Certificate and Meritorious Service Medal. General, SB, HB, Command Sgt Major. CSM said: You knew it'd be a "cold day" when he retired. I laughed heartily. 4 Alvin Boys: SB, JC, BK, BL.

Thursday, November 14, 2013. Out of my system. Got the stomach shakes in Walmart today complete with t he wandering around aimlessly. The whole situation made me feel panicked. It happens every year on this day. The first day that I attempt to wrap my head around what we might get our kids for Christmas. My plan (as always) was to put it on layaway today. That way I will have 3 paychecks to divvy up before the get out day. I kinda knew that today wouldn't be successful. It never is. When Three Became Four.

Friday, May 1, 2015. The me i think i am. I was driving around in circles this morning thinking about things. Trying not to be at home or anywhere else that someone might ask me to do something for them. And then it hit me. Like a ton of bricks. And with extreme clarity. I am a grudge holder. 44 years into this freak show and I am starting to understand the me that I think I am. Naturally, I had to have a conversation with myself about this revelation. But it is so clear now. I am pretty good at forgiving.

Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Working at home in the trashy garage and still smiling. A few months ago, Jeff started working from home while his office was relocating. Yesterday, he had to report to the new office. And much to my surprise, I am kinda bummed out. Initially, I was on the 'get my husband outta this house' band wagon. But in the last few weeks, I have realized that I really like having him here. But he was here. And we could eat lunch together. And have alone time. And it was so nice. It is my kid.

Saturday, November 16, 2013. I went to a party the other night. My friend, Sara, was hosting a ladies hat party. Everyone was asked to bring a food item to share and wear their favorite hat or one that is special to them. The truth is, I was pretty much stressed about the whole thing. Unlike Sara, I am not able to share my feelings openly and with a group of ladies. I mean I AM able to share, but it is almost always with a good dose of sarcasm and self depreciation. Monday, June 28, 2010. We have already had a fun filled beginning of summer with a dance recital, vbs, a trip to South Padre, and now basketball camp. We had a wonderful trip to the valley and spent a whole week with my parents and sis's family at padre. We also attended my Grandma Wood's funeral. Sad but very beautiful. Wednesday, June 26, 2013. You don't know me. I have 5 kids. I have been pregnant 8 times. At 42 1/2, I would give my left arm (well, maybe pinky) to have another baby. (Or 5). A large family is all I ever wanted in this life. When you read the above statement, you could assume something about me and Jeff - like say that we are Catholic.and pro-life.
