Sewage Treatment Plant, Prestolee. After a dry night of deciding what to do (to no avail) I received a phone call from Morton. He had noticed a local site a couple of times and decided it was time for an explore. Straight away I jumped in my car and off we set to Prestolee. As we reached the site I noticed stupid amounts of CCTV, multiple security cabins and a solid palisade fence running the full circumference, but still we parked up and put on our ninja shoes. I haven't got much to say about this place apart from the fact that it feels so sketchy up there due to lack of edge protection and the rooftop in itself seems so small! When we went there was only 2 buildings left, all the rest of the site had been leveled for a new housing estate. visited in the summer, so i doubt there is anything left by now! Some of my pics were used for st. marys asylum in stannington, which is on page number 7. Ravenhead glass, st helens. aug 2010. We didnt get any external shots as there were people on site. :). Thursday, 4 March 2010. Preston odeon revisited. Nov 09. A revisit of original post. Went back after we found out we missed the second screen some how! Any way visited with Over and to say the least it was easier this time! Hope you enjoy the pics! Since my first visit i found a action group that is looking at getting the 1928 cinema back in to use here. These first 3 pics are from of the roof above the main street.
