For now, we are in Nomos Chanion. If you are at Kastelli the Rodopos peninsula is to your left out of the harbour. If you are at the port of Souda Bay Chania is to your right. From the airport at Sternes then straight out of the gates, bear carefully left at the first fork and simply follow the road signs to Chania. For now, try pointing and left clicking Chania or Kolimbari, or depart to 'HOME'. Whatever you do, don't be distracted from the home page where direct links to the main pages are based.

A short tour of the Rodopos peninsula must include the five villages spread from north to south across it's base. Small mountain villages sitting 1000ft or so above sea level. The approach to Afrata is a 'T' junction dominated by two of the four tavernas of Afrata. The 'Good Heart'; 'Manolis'; 'Minora'; and the internationally renowned 'Roxanni's supported by the Canteena on the beach. Left at the 'T' Junction takes you to the quiet village of Astratigos. Two churches, no tavernas and superb sea views.
