Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Oberbaumbrucke close to the East Side Gallery. The longest stretch of the Berlin Wall called the East Side Gallery. At the 20th anniversary of the wall falling, artists from all over painted the wall. Unfortunately, many of the art has been covered with graffiti. Saturday, July 4, 2015. Fourth of July Weekend. Over the fourth of July weekend, I wanted to keep things close and simple. We went to Potterstein and hiked to a castle, rode on the rodelbahn, walked the biking paths, toured the Devil's cave, and ate at a trout farm. It is about 45 minutes away from our house. Sunday, June 28, 2015. This is the largest porcelain wall in the world. It is called the Procession of Princes. The next day we hiked around the Saxon Switerland National Park and walked across the famous Bastei bridge. It had unbelievable views. I definitely want to go back and hike around more of this area. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Nurnberg Color Run 5K. This was my first and probably only color run. I think everyone should do one, but it definitely isn't exercise. I was also like 8 months pregnant, but still, you don't have to run. All you want is to get covered in color. We went with our friends the Larsen's, the McCarson's, and the Hollist's. Monday, July 27, 2015. We were a little surprised with the news of having another baby. After my surgery last year, we were unsure if having another child was possible. We are so grateful she is part of our family! We had family pictures taken when I was 20 weeks pregnant. Kate had just turned two and we wanted to document the new addition to our family. Jessica Mann was our photographer and did a amazing job. 20 weeks ultrasound of baby girl. 40 weeks 6 days. 4200 grams 55 cm long. 65 hours of labor.

Friday, April 4, 2014. Grandma came to visit! During my mom's stay, she helped me plant grass seeds in the front yard and plant flower beds to help make our house more presentable for sellers. It would be nice to sell before our upcoming move! We drove to Lafayette, LA on Friday and stopped for lunch. We had our first crawfish and shrimp po-boys. Basically, a fancy sandwich with fried meat inside. It was in a cute little down town area of Breaux Bridge, LA. The swamp tour was fun. This alligator is HUGE!

Monday, October 13, 2014. This is Kate's new friend Colton. We traveled all the way from Baltimore with this cute little family. We love hanging out with Kelli, Raymond and their boys. These two hiked up to Kallmunz Castle ruins in this picture. Kate and I got tatoos- she thought they were stickers, so I had to show her how to put them on. Sunday, June 28, 2015. We have had crazy weather this summer. One week it will be 90-100 degrees and then the next it will be in the 50-60s. Germany doesn't have air conditioner, so it is pretty miserable being pregnant and hot. We have spent the afternoons napping in the basement or sitting in front of a fan trying not to touch one another. Kate doesn't really seem to notice. Posted by Bryan and Rebekah.
