tin can treader: The workout community vs the running community, in my opinion
https://tincantread.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-workout-community-vs-running.html
WTF is a Tin Can Treader? Friday, October 18, 2013. The workout community vs the running community, in my opinion. Since I started doing T25 there is a slight change in way the I view myself. Everything is centered around the scale and getting one step closer to that stellar "after" photo. It's messing with my brain. Whatever gets people to work out and enjoy working out is great. And I definitely wouldn't mind having some awesome abs, although mine would be all scratched up with stretch marks. I'm sure ...

tin can treader: The Chosen Marathon
https://tincantread.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-chosen-marathon.html
WTF is a Tin Can Treader? Friday, November 15, 2013. Lots of stuff has been going on. I did a booth for my daughter's school's International Fair. We chose Colombia because my in-laws have hosted a barrage of Colombian exchange students, almost all of which are still in close contact, and are still considered family. Now, onto the marathon I ran last month! The only thing that could have made it any better, would be camping on the river the weekend of the race. This is the only picture I have so far....

Ramblin' Rooster: We made the switch!
http://www.theramblinrooster.com/2014/03/we-made-switch.html
Thursday, March 27, 2014. We made the switch! If you know me, you know that I am not a tree-hugging, grass-eating hippy. If you are, that is wonderful and I tip my hat to you. I am, however, somewhat cheap and if you give me an option to save a little money on something I will take it. If that also ends up being better for the environment - double whammy awesome! That being said, we have made the switch to cloth diapers in our house! Here are my top 5 reasons:. 1 We are saving lots and lots of money.

The lil house that could. October 30th, 2013. Long time, no blog? I figured I’d jump back on the blogging wagon with some simple seasonal decorating. I’m not really one to go big for most holidays except for Christmas, but I love a little Fall decor. We host Thanksgiving each year, so I keep things fall neutral to get a good 2 month stretch out of everything. You may have noticed that we also changed out our (off center) porch light for this one from amazon. Apparently, I lost steam once I got to the ins...

One Room Challenge: Progress is Progress – What the Vita
http://whatthevita.com/one-room-challenge-progress-is-progress
One Room Challenge: Progress is Progress. Feeling sick today… So, here’s just a small peek at the bench that I’m working for our master bedroom. It’s not done yet, but here you go. I bought the bench 30 thousand years ago at a thrift store for around $7. Solid wood, just a little banged up and in need of some loving. I sanded it, cleaned it, vacuumed it, cursed at the dust, primed it, sanded it again, tack cloth-ed it, and then cursed at the dust again. Seriously, I know it’s a first world problem ...

On A (Blog) Roll. Thursday, April 17, 2014. Daily Ramblings - Kitchen Reno Completed aka I'm A Slacker (Part 2). I must apologize for my unexcused absence. I've had photos of our kitchen renovation on my camera for a few weeks now and just never got around to taking them off, or posting about anything at all. So, here we are and I do want to share these, seeing as you got to see the before photos! Renovations with a toddler in the house? Back to regularly scheduled programming. April 18, 2014 at 5:19 AM.
